Jennifer Nettles: Little Miss Thankful

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you who submitted your stories for The Little Miss Project. I sniffed around your page and was moved by your bravery in sharing your personal heartbreak, sickness, struggles, betrayals, self-hate, redemptions, salvations, and victories! All of these are your stories, and they give way to strength and beauty and light and healing.

As we gear up for a new year of touring, I am feeling very grateful. We’ve had a few weeks with our families and friends. We’ve slept in stationery beds. We have given ourselves, our hearts and our bodies a break. Taking these pauses are so necessary for our perspective. They offer us an opportunity to refresh and heal and come back energized and excited to get out on the road and do what we love most (which is play shows for you). So, on that note, you can most certainly call me Little Miss Thankful! See you on the road!
