    Sara Bareilles

    Hi.

It’s me, Sara. As I’ve said before, I don’t do those fancy bios. So sue me.

Kaleidoscope Heart is my new album, and I’m beyond proud of this collection of songs, in no small part due to the fact it was like pulling teeth to write them.
We spent the better part of three years touring and supporting my first record, Little Voice, and by the end of that process I was completely burnt out. We had some unforgettable high points as well as some very humbling low ones, and like any good rollercoaster, it’s exhilarating but you still feel a little bit sick at the end and are happy to have your feet on the ground again.

We spent about 6 months making this record, and the record that came from it is exactly what I wanted. With Neal Avron’s help, I took risks, and pushed myself both as a player and vocally, and I followed my gut wholeheartedly for the very first time.

  • Little Big Town

    Little Big Town

Critically acclaimed platinum-selling group Little Big Town—consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook—first entered the music scene over 12 years ago with hits such as “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” and “Good As Gone,” but it is their fourth studio album and recent chart-topping release on Capitol Records Nashville, The Reason Why, that really has people talking. The Dallas Morning News’ Mario Tarradell writes, "There’s so much vibrant authenticity and heart in Little Big Town’s sound.” Collectively, the group has earned eight CMA Awards nominations, and, as of late, their fourth GRAMMY nomination and eighth ACM nomination. Currently on the nationwide Incredible Machine Tour with Sugarland, fans can hear their GRAMMY nominated top Billboard hit “Little White Church” by visiting www.littlebigtown.com.
