It's been a long time coming, but the fans have spoken, and we finally have a winner in our Win A Date With Sugarland "Tonight" Contest: Tiffany!
You can watch her video after the jump. Meanwhile, we'll be contacting her to arrange her trip to see us play in Atlanta later this month. Thank you to EVERYONE who entered -- your videos were incredible. (You can watch all the finalists here.) And we hope each and every one of you someday has a chance to experience your perfect "Tonight"!

It's been a great run, Wichita, and you were a great capper, proving the point that in Sugarland, dreams really do come true -- just ask the folks in tonight's Sugarpit. Birthdays were celebrated, hugs were given, and of course, one lucky girl out there in the arena got a new guitar. (Because here in Sugarland, we love surprises.) (Well, technically, just Kristian loves surprises. Jennifer is a Virgo, and not crazy about 'em.) (We forgot to bring that up in Knoxville after she said it.) (We'll stop with the parentheticals now.)
Thanks for lending us your voices and hearts for a while, and a special shout-out to the Kansas State Wildcat cheerleaders down front, wearing purple shirts and throwing spirit fingers at the top of "Something More." If you were a part of the Incredible Machine in Wichita this evening, please do use the comments and forum and blogs and whatever else is at your disposal to tell us about your night!

We couldn't have planned it better: Just as we launched into the opening bars of our last song, "Come On Eileen," there was this low roar in the audience. Hard to tell what it was at first -- some hats went into the air, somebody tossed a handful of popcorn -- and then all 14,000 people in this St. Louis crowd went so nuts we had to stop the song. The Cardinals had just defeated the Phillies in the NLDS, and there was no containing the joy... even Kristian somehow ended up in a Cards hat. Regardless of your baseball allegiance, a city celebrating their victory en masse is a pretty spectacular thing to witness. Too-rah-loo, for reals.
All around, this was a great night at your Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, St. Louis, and a perfect way to celebrate our last outdoor show of the year. Might we add that you also gave us one of the most enthusiastic "LOVE" flag kids we've had in ages? We'd like to put her on the edge of our stage and let her wave her arms forever. Cute overload, people. Cute. Overload.
So... were you a part of the Incredible Machine this evening, until you got totally distracted by a baseball score? We wanna hear all about it. Leave your concert report in the comments or in our forum, and heck, we'll say it: Go Cards!
