St. Louis, October 7: Were you there?
We couldn't have planned it better: Just as we launched into the opening bars of our last song, "Come On Eileen," there was this low roar in the audience. Hard to tell what it was at first -- some hats went into the air, somebody tossed a handful of popcorn -- and then all 14,000 people in this St. Louis crowd went so nuts we had to stop the song. The Cardinals had just defeated the Phillies in the NLDS, and there was no containing the joy... even Kristian somehow ended up in a Cards hat. Regardless of your baseball allegiance, a city celebrating their victory en masse is a pretty spectacular thing to witness. Too-rah-loo, for reals.
All around, this was a great night at your Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, St. Louis, and a perfect way to celebrate our last outdoor show of the year. Might we add that you also gave us one of most enthusiastic "LOVE" flag kids we've had in ages? We'd like to put her on the edge of our stage and let her wave her arms forever. Cute overload, people. Cute. Overload.

Met some great people waiting in line for the VIP pit access...Brenda totally lost your number want to keep in touch.....as for the show there are now words...there were two songs that i was balling a like a two year old. Sarah was awesome as always but for a first time seeing Sugarland Live center stage five feet away couldn't have been better. thanks for truly the best night of my entire life.

This was day #2 of my Sugar-filled weekend :D After going to bed around midnight, I was up at 3:30, bright-eyed & bushy-tailed, ready to shower and go see my favorite Duo again!!! After another 7 hours on the road, we met up with our friends and headed to the venue for Soundcheck & VIP Party. The impromptu stuff at the SC was more than entertaining...Let's just say I was ready to put on my work out clothes & join in the fun! ;) Next, we had lots of laughs at the pre-party & I purchased a not-so-angelic Sara B shirt. (ha ha) Finally, it was time for another rockin' performance from the Best Band In The World!!! Loved every minute of it...again......

It was a priceless moment when everyone started going crazy after news spread of the Cardinals victory over the Phillies. I am so glad I got the chance to go to the concert as my partner and I bought tickets as soon as we could after we were in the Sugarpit on 8/13 as we thought this would be a good healing process as we lived in STL for years. Well, my partner didn't get to go to the concert and I pray every day she will get to join me in Indy on 10/28 as she is dealing with issues from 8/13. Sugarland ROCKS!!!

I was dancing in the aisle when I heard the Cards had beaten the Phillies. People around me thought I was really rocking to "Come On Eileen". It will be a memorable song for me. Sugarland in STL on a gorgeous October evening and Cards in post season baseball. Live doesn't get any better than this. Also there with my lovely beautiful twin dauhgter's. I was there!!! I was the one head to toe in glow sticks. It was no joke the BEST night of my life. I was front row in the Sugarpit with my arms on the stage the whole night. Jennifer saw my tattoo while singing the exact line that it is of!!!! I think seeing her own autograph tattooed on someone must have been a little weird but she gave me a big thumbs up. Later in the night she came over and came up to me and specifically told me to turn my hand for a high five!!! I died and fall back wards into my friend!!! Kristian spent a good part of the night in front of me although I was a bit sad I didn't get a pick. I about lost my voice screaming his name all night. But hey I was there what more could I ask for. The more Kristian igrnored me the harder Annie would laugh each time. Then when the Cardinals won and Kristian traded hats with the guy behind me. I wish I would have had more money on me to try to buy that hat off that guy!!! All around just an awesome night. I am not even making a joke when I say the best night of my life cause it was. Music moves me in a way nothing else can. And in a time when life is so hard for me this Sugarland concert was the perfect reminder to keep fighting. Thanks J&K
