Im writing this letter for the fan of the week. My name is is Nicole and my screen name is Sugarlanddreamer29. Although I'm a big fan of Sugarland I'm writing this letter on behalf of my 5yr daughter Madison. Recently my daughter thought that it would be fun to cut her hair, and when I say cut I mean chop off her hair. She had never had a haircut before and her hair "did" go down past her butt!! Two days ago we were sitting watching t.v. and a commercial came on. There was a little girl on t.v about 6-7yrs old. She was wearing a Sugarland shirt and Madison saw her shirt, gasped, got excited and said, "Mommy,Mommy, look she like sugarland like me, We match!!" Needless to say my 5yr usually would have gotten excited and then went back to playing, but instead she continued to watch the commercial. As the commercial went on I realized it was for Locks of Love, an organization that you can donate your hair to children who have cancer that lose their hair during treatment. I continued to watch Madison and her face to try and see what she was thinking. The next thing I know she walked out of the living room. I thought she was going back to play but to my surprise she comes back into the living room with a bag. She had went into my room and grabbed the bag of her hair that she cut a week prior and looked at me and said, "Mommy, can we give her my hair cause she likes Sugarland see (as she pointed to the little girls shirt)!!" As my eyes filled with tears I told her "Yes baby, we can give her your hair." My little girl obviously doesnt realize why exactly the little girl has no hair besides that she is sick because she would not understand what cancer is!! She also doesnt realize what a GREAT thing she did because at 5 she was just more into a little girl on t.v. and that her and that little girl are best friends because they both like Sugarland!!! So again as big of a Sugarland fan as I am, I would have to nominate my little girl Madison for her Big Heart, lovinging personality, friendship to everyone, and of course because she is a big fan of Sugarland!!! What Happened to them doing a slideshow of fans pics during the Tampa show!!! I posted pics as well as other ppl and there was NO pics shown??? Had a BLAST anyway... and the beach ball that ended up on stage.... Yep was mine!!! AWESOME!!!
