Good morning and Happy Tuesday (fat, skinny, or in between!)

I was rushed this morning, as I decided to create a crock pot dinner, and while I'd marinated chicken overnight, I had to cut up the veggies, which put me behind in my morning routine...though I know it will be well worth running late when I get home this evening and dinner is ready =)

Bailey, I'm going to watch your video tonight...I'm sure it is great!

Heather, I hope things in your household settle down a bit...and I hope your daughter is feeling better, inside and out, very soone.

Stay warm and drive safely, Karen...Mother Nature is so fickle this year everywhere, teasing with warm days and then throwing in some miserable ones!

Krista, I'm glad you found your way back here. For me, THIS is HOME for all things SugarLand...even when it is pretty quiet. Good luck with your social media break...text me if you need any updates =)

Melody, I don't usually feel lucky, but I've won some good things from the radio station here (including SugarLand tickets for the past two years...always happy to share those with SugarFriends!). I'll take the luck of the Irish (I DID grow up in Dublin, CA!)....if only the wee people with the pots of gold would allow me a Lotto win!

thanks kathie...it's been hard today because i'm getting notifications on my phone lol. but that will be fixed when i get my new phone (i'm ordering it thursday). i still get some tweets to my phone (SL, LBT, Pickler, and CC) so i'm not totally in the dark but i'll definitely text you if i hear something i can't confirm lol OH...may is looking dim for us to get out there...right now it is about $800 for us to come, so it may just be a september trip and a trip to disney then too! but whenever i get out there, i want us to get together with em for dinner, lunch, whatever :)

and speaking about mother nature being fickle...it snowed in the north and west part of NC saturday...today it is almost 60 and tomorrow it will get mid 60s and thursday it will be low 70s! i think mother nature here in NC is bipolar this year...she can't make up her mind!! i'm not complaining too much though...i've liked the jeans/t-shirt kinda days! granted if it snowed, then we more than likely would get out of work...and i always enjoy a free day off work! haha *unless i have bring my work home*

Evening everyone. I stopped by most to read the comments of supportive friends and fans of SL. Today's news has been a downer. I can't wrap my head around why on Earth a lawyer would ever say the things that have been reported. I (and I would venture most of us here) don't believe those are the sentiments of anyone in the SL family. Clearly, its time to bring in some new lawyers. Ones that actually think before they speak.

Other than that I hope everyone is doing well. My calendar has filled up for the next few weeks and I am looking forward to spring. The pre-sales emails always make me very happy. I won't be going to any of the shows going on sale, but to know the tour is starting soon is very uplifting.

Krista, its good to have you check in. I had to look twice to see whose message I was reading. Good Luck with staying away from social media. It would be so hard for me.

I agree with your entire first paragraph. I have thought about nothing else all afternoon, except for a few moments when I managed to let other things occupy my mind.

The lawyers say what they have to say to mitigate any damages. It seems to me that much of the inflammatory langauge has been pulled out of context to boost viewership / readership. It is also my understanding that the language in question is the standard warning fans get when they buy tickets to a show.

SUGARLAND told us how they felt in the hours, days, weeks, and months after the show. They told us via, Tweets, posts on this website, the concert opener in Albequerque, the follow-up concert here in Indy on 10/28 (HEAL FLAG). I know Yoda cares too because she e-mailed me on Sunday August 14 at 2:49 am "Stephen - are you okay?". That e-mail message still gives me chills. How in the world with all that was going on did Yoda think to e-mail me? Having people like Yoda on staff shows me SUGARLAND TRULY cares about ALL of their FANS. Jennifer pausing at the concert on 10/28 so my wife coudl take her picture shows she cares too.

SUGARLAND - WE ARE STILL PRAYING FOR Y'ALL!!!!!!!

Morning gang - hope everyone has a great day and that we've all gotten yesterday out of our systems as much as possible. My only thought about it this morning is that those lawyers shouldn't be working for SL, because they clearly don't know their clients. I cannot even fathom why someone would and could say something like that. And yes, I am done :P

I wasn't aware that Whitney left. When we saw her in November she said that she was planning on being back this year, or at least that is what I took from the conversation. That's unfortunate.

30 mins until pre-show tix go on sale!!!! YAAAYYYYY!!!!! I'm watching a dvr'd Incredible Machine show that was on GAC lol. Makes me SOOOOOOOOO excited.

I was really upset yesterday. Still teary reading what everybody has written. I guess i just feel like they mean so much to me (and ALL OF US HERE) that they should to everyone else too. And when someone goes after FAMILY they go after me. I held a lot back. I hate it so bad for J&K and all of SL. Of course i hate all of the injuries and death too!! I'm not dismissing that!! :'( I wish them peace, and that they weren't in pain over loved ones, but i think they're going about it in the wrong way.

So.... today was a full day of school and Sis cried asking if she has gym today, says she doesn't like the games they play in there. Idk what i'm going to do with her. She HAS to go. There's no question about that. Idk what to do....It's taking such a toll of both of us, then i complain and cry to mike when he gets home....I wish i could take it all away for her :'(

Ok, I'm gonna look on this page and watch Jenn and Kristian on tv as i wait "patiently" for tix........

I didn't know that Whitney (aka Yoda) was gone. She replied to an e-mail I sent her January 19th. Though that explains why I didn't hear back from the e-mails I sent her 2/13 and 2/16 It's too bad she's not working for them any more. I hope she's doing well!
